Q. Give details of Joint at the Feet of Queen Post.
Ans. This joint is also mortice and tenoned joint. The inclined strut is received by the splayed shoulder of queen post. The queen post is itself tenoned into the beam. M.S. straps are employed to strengthened the joint.
