Ques : What do you know about Vernier Scale ?

Ans : Vernier Scale is used when we require to measure fractional parts of smallest division of main scale i.e.; main of primary scale  fixed along the graduated edge of of longed fixed scale and small scale known as vernier scale which move   with  its graduated edge of main scale. Vernier has index mark which forms the zero of the vernier division its denoted by arrow  the difference between the value of main scale divisions and the vernier divisions is called least count.
