Ques : How the Vernier Scale is read ?

Ans : See the main scale graduation beyond which in  lies and then observe that which division of the vernier exactly coincides with some division on primary scale. Now multiply the number of coinciding vernier division by the least count which shall give the fractional part to be added to the approximate reading.
