What are the advantages of cement over lime?

Ques:What are the advantages of cement over lime?

Answer :Cement has more strength than lime . Setting time of cement is less than lime. It does not slake when wetted with water. It is greenish grey while lime is white .I can be used for important and heavy engineering structure where lime can not be used.
